Residential Construction and Remodeling

Tom Curren Companies is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to provide administrative support across our residential Production team. This role helps ensure that signed projects enter Production with complete information and that every approved material selection is ordered accurately, tracked carefully, and ready when the field team needs it.

About Tom Curren Companies

For more than 40 years, Tom Curren Companies has helped homeowners throughout Greater Boston care for, improve, and transform their homes. Our work includes remodeling, painting, and carpentry projects delivered by an experienced team of Project Managers, field professionals, and long-standing trade partners. We value high- quality work, candid communication, teamwork, personal initiative, doing the right thing, and relentless focus on the client.

What You Will Do

Review newly signed contracts using our Production intake checklist and confirm that required scope, drawings, selections, client information, deposits, and project documents are complete.

Identify missing information or inconsistencies and work with Sales, Estimating, Finance, and Production to close gaps before ordering or project kickoff.

Order documented and approved client selections, verifying model numbers, quantities, sizes, finishes, accessories, pricing, freight, lead times, and delivery details.

Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate order, delivery, backorder, return, replacement, credit, and warranty records.

Track long-lead materials and proactively alert Project Managers to risks that could affect the production schedule.

Coordinate deliveries with vendors, our warehouse, Project Managers, field teams, and clients as appropriate.

Support Project Managers with project files, meeting notes, action-item tracking, routine documents, permit or inspection administration, and closeout records.

Match purchase orders, vendor confirmations, packing slips, invoices, and credits and route discrepancies for resolution.

Log and track punch-list and warranty items and help keep communication and documentation moving through

completion.

Provide responsive, accurate administrative support wherever the Production team needs it most.

What Will Make You Successful

You are exceptionally organized and notice details others miss.

You enjoy managing many moving pieces and closing every open loop.

You communicate directly, professionally, and respectfully with clients, vendors, and coworkers.

You are comfortable asking questions and stopping an order when information is incomplete or inconsistent.

You anticipate deadlines and raise risks early rather than waiting for a problem to grow.

You work independently while understanding that great projects are delivered by a team.
