Project Coordinator – Your Job Duties and Impact

You will support electrical construction projects from planning and coordination through project closeout.

You will:

  • Coordinate multiple active electrical construction projects and keep project details, priorities, materials, and next steps organized.
  • Review and approve purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities.
  • Order project materials and track material needs to support project schedules and field readiness.
  • Coordinate project scope and help ensure the team has the information, materials, and resources needed before work begins.
  • Communicate directly with customers, subcontractors, Project Managers, and internal team members regarding project needs, schedules, status, and outstanding items.
  • Support project kickoffs and ongoing project coordination, following up on action items and keeping the many moving pieces organized.
  • Monitor project activity and proactively identify missing information, materials, approvals, or other items that could slow progress.
  • Participate in job walks when helpful to gain a stronger technical understanding of project scope and field conditions.
  • Maintain accurate project information and documentation within Acumatica ERP.
  • Coordinate project closeout and complete jobs within the system so completed projects are ready for billing.

Project Coordinator – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)

You have:

  • Prior experience as a construction Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, Materials Coordinator, or in a similar construction project support role
  • Prior experience managing multiple active projects, deadlines, priorities, and moving parts at the same time
  • Prior experience with procurement, purchasing, materials coordination, or construction project logistics
  • Strong organization and follow through with the ability to keep project details from slipping through the cracks – you are an organization master
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand construction project scope, materials, sequencing, and project requirements (added plus if you have electrical background!)
  • Experience communicating directly with customers, subcontractors, field teams, and internal project stakeholders.
  • Comfort taking ownership of project coordination rather than waiting to be directed on every next step.
  • Experience using construction project management, ERP, or project tracking software.

You might also have:

  • Prior experience working on electrical construction projects or hands on electrical field experience.
  • A construction management or electrical background that gives you a stronger understanding of project scope and field operations.
  • Prior experience with contracts or scope of work documentation.

Project Coordinator – Benefits for You

Your compensation will be $80,000 up to $105,000 annually, depending on your experience and technical background. Additional compensation flexibility may be available if you bring strong electrical field experience.
