    About Us

We are a family-owned custom millwork and kitchen design company with over 60 years of experience and multiple locations across New York and Miami. We specialize in high-end residential kitchens, custom cabinetry, and millwork installations. We are growing rapidly and looking for a highly organized, proactive team member to help manage operations between the office, field, installers, and project sites.

    Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Project Coordinator to assist with scheduling, field coordination, inventory management, service follow-up, and project support specifically within the custom kitchen, cabinetry, and millwork industry.

This is a hands-on, coordination-level role — not a design, project management, or superintendent position. You will support production and installation from behind the scenes and on-site, keeping communication organized between clients, installers, contractors, and our internal team.

This is a hybrid role involving office responsibilities and site visits throughout NYC and Long Island (1–2 field days per week).

    Responsibilities

    Office & Operations

    Office & Operations

    •      Schedule deliveries and installations
    •      Coordinate installer schedules and logistics
    •      Confirm site conditions using photos, measurements, and project details
    •      Track and manage service calls and punch lists
    •      Order replacement parts, hardware, and stock materials
    •      Maintain inventory and stock organization
    •      Communicate with vendors and suppliers
    •      Follow up with clients, installers, and contractors
    •      Ensure project files, notes, and updates are properly documented

    Field Responsibilities

    •  Visit job sites for measurements and site verification (1–2 days per week)
    •  Coordinate with general contractors and other trades onsite
    •  Review site conditions and report issues proactively
    •  Assist with MEP coordination and construction drawings
    •  Ensure installers have all required information before installation
    •  Help solve installation and field-related issues quickly and professionally

    Qualifications

    Required Experience

    •      At least 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically in kitchen cabinetry, custom millwork, or high-end residential kitchen/bath installation — general construction, superintendent, or corporate project-management experience without direct cabinetry/millwork/kitchen exposure will not be considered a match for this role.
    •      Comfortable reading shop drawings, cut lists, and cabinetry specs (not just architectural plans)
    •      Experience working directly with installers, cabinet shops, or kitchen/millwork subcontractors day-to-day — not just overseeing them at a project-management distance

    Strongly Preferred

    •      Familiarity with kitchen design software (2020 Design Live, Cyncly 2020, or similar) — you don't need to design, but you should be able to read a layout
    •      Experience coordinating punch lists and service calls after installation
    •      Understanding of MEP drawings as they relate to kitchen/millwork rough-ins

    Skills

    •      Extremely organized and detail-oriented
    •      Strong communication and problem-solving skills
    •      Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
    •      Ability to work independently and take initiative
    •      Tech-savvy and comfortable with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and project management tools
    •      Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites

    Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate is:

     •      Has spent real time in a cabinet shop, kitchen showroom, or on a millwork installation crew — this is industry-specific experience, not general construction
    •      Is proactive instead of reactive, and good under pressure
    •      Is looking for a coordination-level role long-term — not a stepping stone while job-searching for a Project Manager or Superintendent title, and not a step down from one
    •      Is organized enough to keep projects and service issues from slipping through the cracks
    •      Is looking for long-term growth within a fast-growing company

    Compensation

    •  Competitive salary based on experience
    •  Opportunity for growth into project management
    •  Company phone / mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
    •  Full-time position
    Compensation: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
