Project Coordinator

Full-Time | Day Shift

Crossville, TN

 

A local reputable construction company is seeking a driven and organized Project Coordinator to manage commercial and residential construction projects from the office side. This role is responsible for scheduling, budgeting, documentation, subcontractor coordination, and customer communication while working closely with Field Project Managers and the Construction Manager. This is not an entry-level administrative role — this position plays a key part in keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and running smoothly from start to finish.

 

Responsibilities
  • Manage project documentation from project start through closeout
  • Build and maintain project schedules and coordinate with field teams
  • Schedule subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries
  • Track project budgets, costs, and change orders
  • Review invoices and verify cost accuracy
  • Communicate regularly with customers regarding schedules, selections, and updates
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and inspectors
  • Assist with material procurement and purchase orders
  • Secure permits and maintain insurance and compliance documentation
  • Review daily field logs and track project progress
  • Prepare project reports and maintain organized project files

 

Requirements
  • Experience in project coordination, scheduling, construction administration, or project management
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365 required; QuickBooks/JobTread or construction software a plus)
  • Ability to read construction plans and understand scopes of work
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through
  • Construction industry experience preferred
