Title: Construction Coordinator
Location: West Huntington, West Virginia (60% in the field, 40% in the office)
Contract: W2 only, 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full-time with either the client or CEI
Pay: $30/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
Overview
The Construction Coordinator is responsible for job creation workflow and milestone management of construction projects, as well as administrative and financial quality control of jobs for the Northeast Beltway capital construction projects. This role involves supporting multiple counties, with a balance of field and office work, and requires experience in cable, project management, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage & track milestones
Create jobs in JT/Polaris
Issue jobs to design
Manage job through full lifecycle updating milestones in JT/Polaris
Handle exceptions to the lifecycle SLAs
Reconcile jobs (office)
Liaise with stakeholders
Point of contact for all internal cross-functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales
Provide reporting for management
Identify resources
Create and approve funding requests
Material management and reconciliation
Research contracts and agreements
Manage funding requests/purchase orders
Responsible for job estimate (finance)
Manage and analyze quality control flow
Manage quality control workflow
Validate that field quality control is performed
Pull reports and provide feedback based on analysis
Interact with specialists and permit coordinators to ensure milestones are closed
Conduct admin and milestone quality control
Follow admin QC checklist (materials, invoice, pictures, footages)
Validate permit closure
Ensure final invoice milestone is set
Ensure all milestones are updated

Required Skills
Experience in construction project management
Knowledge of cable or related field
Strong workflow and milestone management skills
Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
Financial and administrative quality control experience
Ability to manage and reconcile materials and contracts
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JT/Polaris)
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Ability to support field operations and office reporting
Excellent communication skills
Experience supporting capital construction projects
