Were seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead the project controls function supporting industrial construction and EPC projects. This is a key leadership position responsible for planning, scheduling, cost controls, performance reporting, and developing a high-performing project controls team.

Were seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead the project controls function supporting industrial construction and EPC projects. This is a key leadership position responsible for planning, scheduling, cost controls, performance reporting, and developing a high-performing project controls team.
The Project Controls Manager will partner closely with Construction, Project Management, Finance, and other project stakeholders to drive consistent controls, provide visibility into project performance, and support successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Project Controls team supporting construction and EPC projects.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, cost controls, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Develop and maintain baseline and cost-loaded schedules.
- Lead progress updates, resource planning, and schedule analysis.
- Perform critical path, float path, and schedule variance analysis.
- Identify schedule risks and recommend recovery and mitigation strategies.
- Track quantities, labor hours, productivity, costs, and key performance indicators.
- Develop dashboards, executive reports, metrics, and project performance summaries.
- Partner with construction leadership to establish consistent project controls processes and procedures.
- Support project teams with cost management and execution planning.
- Provide senior-level project controls guidance across multiple projects.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project controls personnel.
- Coordinate with Finance and Accounting on project cost and financial reporting.
Preferred Background
- Significant project controls experience within industrial construction, engineering, or EPC environments.
- Strong hands-on planning and scheduling experience using Primavera P6.
- Experience leading or developing Project Controls teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, cost management, forecasting, productivity tracking, and performance reporting.
- Experience supporting direct-hire construction projects is highly desirable.
- Exposure to projects spanning engineering/design through construction and full EPC execution.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with conceptual and front-end project planning is a plus.
