This is a hybrid role and would require you to be in the McLean, VA office 2-3 times per week.Job Duties:Assist the PMO Director with managing the internal PMO Board backlog process and backlog itemsManage as a project manager the full life cycle of internal projects initiated from the PMO Board backlog process, in accordance with best practices found in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®)Develop, manage, and promote the use of project management related templatesDevelop, manage, and promote the use of standard operating procedures across multiple lines of businessAssist the PMO Director with Teams/SharePoint governance compliance by team membersAssist the corporate certifications team with compliance tracking and audit supportPlay a significant role in coordinating and tracking the standup of major government contract programs across program/project managers, resource managers, contract administrators, and project stakeholders.Provide project support to project managers on government programs, to include support of status reporting, issue tracking, resource management, and compliance with corporate certifications and PMO standards.Assist with and provide shared oversight of project financial performance and its components within government contract programs, such as cost estimations, budgets, actuals, estimate to completes, estimated cost at completion, and variance resolution supportPeriodically meet with onsite government project staff in support of projectstatus and issue resolutionCoordinate Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system project setup requirements and maintenance with program/project managers, contract administrators, and project accounting staffAssist project managers and subcontract administrators with subcontractor management and change ordersQualifications/Skills/Experience:6+ years of experience as a customer facing project manager, projectcontroller, or equivalent project support role utilizing best practices found in the PMBOK® Guide is requiredStrong cross organizational communication and coordination skills are requiredStrong understanding of the relationships, controls, and data surrounding the WBS, project management tracking tools and solutions, resource management, and ERP system project accounting is requiredMicrosoft 365 application proficiency is required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)Microsoft Project proficiency is required (Project Online/PWA preferred)Jira proficiency is preferredExperience coordinating with stakeholders on formal process improvement through to standardized documentation, in support of standard operating procedures, is preferredUnanet ERP system experience is preferredGovernment IT modernization and/or IT services program experience as a project manager or in support of such a role is preferredStrong understanding of government contracting terminology, concepts, processes, and statement of work components is preferredGovernment contracting related project accounting proficiency within ERP systems is preferredResource management experience is a preferredCorporate certification knowledge and experience, such as CMMI and ISO, is preferredCertifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or in progress is preferredCertified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is preferredEducation:Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or a similar degree is requiredRequirements:U.S Citizenship is requiredCandidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
