    What Impact You'll Have

    GRVTY has an opening for a Program Control Principal. This role provides high level financial oversight and analytical support to a portfolio of government contracts of varying size and complexity. This role is responsible for building, managing, and analyzing program budgets, updating forecasts, supporting growth opportunities, and preparing performance metrics. The analyst shall interface closely with Program Manager (PM), contracts, FP&A, accounts receivable, procurement, and subcontractor management to enable strong program execution against financial goals. This senior position requires an extensive government contracting understanding, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence decisions through thorough and thoughtful analysis.

    What You'll be Owning

    • Lead financial planning for assigned portfolio to include budgets, forecasts, and EACs.
    • Track cost baseline in detail, perform variance analysis, and support P&L performance reporting as needed.
    • Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and program review materials for leadership.
    • Serve as business partner to Program Managers to interpret financial data, identify risks/opportunities, and support strategic decisions.
    • Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, CAS, internal policies, and customer requirements.
    • Work with accounting, contracts, and procurement to ensure accuracy of data and resolve issues.
    • Support internal and external audits, financial reviews, and data integrity checks.
    • Monitor and modify purchase requisitions for subcontractors and materials; monitoring costs, review timecards, approve invoices.
    • Drive process improvements in forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and financial controls.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior analysts as needed
    • Support other ad hoc requests from the programs or management

    What You Must Have

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Clearable U.S. Citizenship Required
    • 15+ years of program control or financial analysis experience in a government contracting environment.
    • Experience providing financial tracking and support for the government customers in areas of Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis, or Accounting.
    • Complete understanding of financial analysis such as return on sales (ROS), return on cost (ROC), annual operating plans, accounts receivable, and revenue/profit forecasting.
    • Ability to prepare program baseline data, EAC development and cost estimating/pricing and complex variance analysis.
    • Deep understanding of indirect rate structures, and government contract types.
    • High proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and experience with ERP systems such as Costpoint, Unanet, or similar.
    • Critical thinking skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to all levels of management
