The Project Control Analyst (PCA) is responsible for tracking and reporting on program accomplishments, development and completion of action plans/required reports, etc. to ensure effective program management. The PCA will also serve as the focal point for assigned projects that cross over organizational boundaries and contain sensitive details. Provides recommendations enhance corporate effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:
- Partners with management to ensure proper cost allocation to the project cost objectives.
- Evaluates project cost against project budgets.
- Assures cost control and accounting procedures are being adhered to.
- Reviews and analyzes the status of assigned projects for the purpose of cost reporting.
- Develops information, analyzes and processes data gathered, reports findings, and considers available solutions or alternate methods of proceeding.
- Analyze project performance metrics and develop dashboards (Excel, Power BI) to inform decision making.
- Inputs project modification requests into CostPoint and assists in issuing funding modifications to subcontractors
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with 3-5 years of relevant project control experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI for project control activities
- Knowledge of SharePoint and its use for managing and organizing information is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptability and resilience in dynamic and evolving environments
