Organization Overview:
The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) is an economic development entity of the federal government and 13 state governments focusing on 420 counties across the Appalachian Region. ARC’s mission is to innovate, partner, and invest to build community capacity and strengthen economic growth in Appalachia to help the Region achieve socioeconomic parity with the nation.
Position Summary:
ARC seeks a highly organized and collaborative team player to join our office of General Counsel as aProject Compliance Analyst to perform a highly coordinative and advisory role on all aspects of the project compliance review of applications for ARC assistance and serve as primary liaison between Project Compliance and Program staff providing authoritative technical assistance and guidance consistent with ARC policies and practices. The position works under the general direction of the Project Compliance Program Manager. and reports to the General Counsel.

ARC generally follows the General Schedule Salary Table of the Federal government. ARC’s grades denoted by “NF” are equivalent to the GS chart. This position is an NF-12 (DC locality). This position is located in Washington, DC and requires five days “in-person” days in the office.
