Project Civil Engineer

Sexton Engineering Associates, Inc., is a multidisciplinary consulting firm specializing in civil engineering, surveying and mapping, and land development services.  We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our office in Central Palm Beach County.  If you are a Professional Engineer who enjoys the technical aspects of land development engineering projects, we have the position for you.

SUMMARY:

Project Engineer performs a wide variety of technical, professional and management duties that are associated with land development projects.  Prepares construction plans, contract documents, reports, calculations and permit applications for regulatory agencies for a variety of projects. Familiar with local permitting agencies and their permitting standards and processes.  Must have strong communication skills for client maintenance, permit reviewers and in-house staff.

SALARY:       $40.00 - $65.00 Based on Experience

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• P.E. License in Florida
• Proficient knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
• Strong organizational skills, communication skills and technical writing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
