Project Based Landscaper

MPS LANDSCAPING operation in Columbia and Rensselaer County. Candidate must have valid drivers license and mode of transportation.

We are a growing landscape and hardscape company looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our team on a project-by-project basis. We specialize in high-end residential landscaping, hardscaping, grading, drainage, and outdoor living spaces. We’re looking for people who take pride in producing quality work and want to be part of a team that values craftsmanship over cutting corners.

Whether you have basic landscaping experience or years of industry expertise, we encourage you to apply. We hire based on attitude, work ethic, and skill level.

Responsibilities

• Install landscaping, mulch, sod, trees, shrubs, and plants
• Assist with grading, drainage, and site preparation
• Build patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features (experience preferred)
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
• Load, unload, and transport materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

• Entry-level to expert-level landscaping experience accepted
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
• Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, or other equipment is a plus
• Hardscape experience is highly valued but not required
