POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Project Associate with a background in Division of the State Architect (DSA) projects to join our team. This role supports project management and coordination efforts, assist with DSA documentation and approvals, and contributes to the successful delivery of educational and public sector projects through all phases of design and construction. At Huckabee, the Project Associate works under the direction of a Project Architect and plays a key role in the technical development and execution of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-quality design solutions across a diverse range of project sizes and complexities.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Work on project development in design phases.
• Maintain project delivery schedule and communicate concerns with project team.
• Prepare schematic and design development phase presentation materials.
• Develop construction documentation and specifications.
• Create develop and maintain BIM projects through all phases of project.
• Coordinate with consultants utilizing BIM, 2D documentation, and specifications.
• Assist the Project Architect in the preparation of request for pricing and review of shop drawings.
• Site visits as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture from an accredited program or completion of architectural technology program with commensurate experience preferred.
• Architectural license preferred.
• Proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, BIM 360, Bluebeam Revu, and Office 365.
• Experience with Navisworks, and AutoDesk FormIt, preferred.

SALARY RANGE

• $85,000 to $100,000
