Project Architect
Raleigh, North Carolina | Hybrid
Salary: $80,000–$125,000
An established architecture firm in Raleigh is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an architectural professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects, coordinating with clients and consultants, and contributing throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects through schematic design, design development, construction documentation, permitting, bidding, and construction administration
- Prepare and coordinate drawings, details, schedules, specifications, and project models
- Coordinate directly with clients, consultants, contractors, jurisdictions, and internal project teams
- Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination meetings, design reviews, and site observations
- Review RFIs, submittals, field reports, and construction-related questions
- Research and apply building codes, zoning requirements, accessibility standards, materials, and construction systems
- Mentor and support junior architectural staff
- Help maintain strong technical and documentation standards throughout project delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of professional architectural experience; 10 years preferred
- Professional architecture license highly preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will also be considered
- Strong proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Experience preparing and coordinating construction documents
- Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, permitting, and construction systems
- Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Strong communication, organization, and project-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Multifamily experience strongly preferred
- Experience with mixed-use, commercial, planning, renovation, or community-focused projects is also valuable

- Base salary: $80,000–$125,000, depending on experience and qualifications
