Project Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and motivated Project Architect / Designer to join our team in Raleigh. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of practical architectural experience and a strong interest in commercial, non-residential architecture.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to projects from the design phase through construction documentation while working alongside a collaborative production and project team.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative architectural designs and concepts
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with project teams
• Assist with Design Development and Construction Documents
• Work closely with production teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with consultants and other project team members
• Apply knowledge of building codes and architectural standards
• Develop and refine architectural drawings and documentation
• Contribute to the overall design quality and execution of projects

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of practical architectural experience
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Experience in commercial/non-residential architecture
• Strong design and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience with Design Development and Construction Documents
• Experience with Revit
• Experience with SketchUp or other architectural design software
• Knowledge of building codes
• Experience with consultant coordination

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed Architect
• Additional experience with architectural design and visualization software
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design abilities and project experience
