Project Architect - Public, Education & Civic

Want to design the schools, civic buildings and community spaces people use every day? A respected Missouri architecture firm is looking for a Project Architect in Kansas City to lead public, education and civic work.

This is a role for someone who wants real ownership. You'll lead projects through design and documentation, work directly with clients and consultants, and see your work become part of the community.

What you'll do

• Lead architecture projects through design, documentation and delivery
• Work across public projects such as K-12, higher education, civic, religious and commercial
• Coordinate project teams, consultants and clients
• Keep documentation, schedules and quality on track
• Help develop designers and junior staff on your teams

What you bring

• 4-10 years of professional architecture experience
• Public project experience preferred (K-12, higher ed, civic, religious, commercial)
• Architectural license preferred
• Background as a Project Architect, Architect II, Job Captain or Project Manager
• Based in the Kansas City area (or ready to be)
