Project Architect / Project Manager

A respected, well-established KC architecture firm is looking for a Project Architect / Project Manager to take the lead on a mix of public and private work: the kind of civic, community and commercial projects you can drive past years from now and say, "I led that."

This is a role for someone who wants real ownership. You'll be trusted to run projects from the first sketch to the final punch list. You'll work directly with clients and firm leadership, without layers of bureaucracy between you and the decisions.

What you'll do

• Lead public and private architecture projects from start to finish, from early design through construction
• Serve as project architect and/or project manager, guiding the internal team and coordinating consultants
• Own project delivery, keeping documentation, schedules and budgets on track
• Be the go-to contact for clients and stakeholders, building relationships that bring repeat work
• Mentor and develop the next generation of designers on your teams

What you bring

• 8+ years of professional architecture experience
• A portfolio that includes both public and private sector projects
• Licensed architect, or close to finishing licensure
• Experience as a Project Architect, Senior Project Architect, Project Manager or Architect II/III
• Based in the Kansas City area (or ready to be)
