A vibrant, Michigan engineering firm is seeking a ProjectArchitect for their Midland area office!
Responsibilities:
- Consultwith client to determine requirements for new structures or renovation
- Coordinate/attendmeetings with clients, consultants, planning officials, building officials and/orhealth/safety/law officials
- Preparecontract documents
- Conductperiodic on-site observation to monitor compliance with plans
- Producehigh quality work
- Ensureall work is reviewed by a registered architect
- Managemultiple projects simultaneously
- Collaboratewith team members at all levels of design phases
- Attendclient meetings, possibly face-to-face
- Travelto clients and construction sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- 5+years of experience in related experience in commercial, medical and/orinstitutional projects
- ArchitectureLicense preferred
- Knowledgeof contract administration/office procedures
- Knowledgeof basic building systems (architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical,structural)
- Experiencegenerating construction documents in AutoCAD/Revit
- Experiencewith 3D modeling, presentation and design software (Photoshop, Bluebeam,Enscape, 3D Studio, Sketch Up)
- Mathematicalskills
Salary is commensurate withexperience.
