    We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect to join a collaborative architecture team. This role is ideal for a licensed architect with strong design, technical, project management, and client-facing experience who can lead projects from concept through construction while mentoring and developing team members.


    Responsibilities


    • Develop architectural concepts based on project criteria and incorporate feedback to refine designs
    • Collaborate with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and other team members to determine the best approach for each project
    • Manage multiple projects, tasks, and deliverables simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines
    • Produce comprehensive architectural documents through design development and construction documentation
    • Develop designs, drawings, models, renderings, and presentations using applicable architectural and visualization software
    • Utilize technology and emerging tools, including automation and AI platforms, to improve design and project workflows
    • Serve as project manager for small- to medium-sized projects and project teams
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and participate in client meetings
    • Coordinate and communicate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
    • Assist with project planning, coordination, documentation, and overall project execution
    • Participate in professional development activities and contribute to internal initiatives
    • Build and maintain professional relationships and participate in industry events and organizations
    • Mentor, support, and develop less-experienced team members
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    Qualifications


    • Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited institution
    • 10+ years of professional architecture experience
    • Active architectural license/registration required
    • Experience leading projects through multiple phases, from schematic design through construction documentation and construction administration
    • Strong architectural design and visual representation skills
    • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
    • Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, Enscape, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Bluebeam Revu, or comparable software
    • Strong knowledge of architectural materials, building systems, project design, and technical documentation
    • Experience with project management and coordination of project teams
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively
    • Strong understanding of conventional architectural practices and project delivery
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Experience with education projects is desirable
    • Experience utilizing automation, AI, or other emerging technologies in architectural workflows is a plus
    • LEED Green Associate or LEED AP certification is a plus
    • Active NCARB record is a plus

    • AutoCAD
    • Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
    • Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Bluebeam Revu
    • Automation and AI platforms
    • Other architectural design, documentation, visualization, and project management technologies
