Job DetailsJob Details:
We are a looking for a Project Admin Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing various administrative aspects of our construction projects, including payroll, project documentation, and liaison with stakeholders. This role demands a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of construction project management.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and manage project-related administrative tasks, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
2. Oversee and manage the payroll function for project teams, including union-related payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and agreements.
3. Maintain and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, lien waivers, and other related documents.
4. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks to create, manage, and update project schedules, budgets, and reports.
5. Liaise with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure clear communication and smooth project progression.
6. Assist in the preparation and submission of project proposals, tenders, and bids.
7. Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
8. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience as a payroll coordinator, bonus if experienced in union-related payroll.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
4. Familiarity with construction project management and administrative procedures, including lien waivers.
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
8. A commitment to upholding health and safety standards.
9. A degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
