Project Accountant

Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)
Salary: $90,000 - $93,000

Key Responsibilities for the Project Accountant:

• Pre-code and process accounts payable transactions
• Manage deposits and assist with cash management activities
• Review and support check run processing
• Update project schedules and maintain financial records
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare financial reports
• Assist with month-end close activities, including cost of sales reporting
• Complete ad hoc tasks & projects as requested

Qualifications for the Project Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, development, or project accounting
• Strong job costing experience required
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience with Sage 300 CRE/Timberline preferred
