We’re seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join a growing organization supporting complex construction and project-based operations. The Project Accountant will play a key role in managing project financials, overseeing billing and payables, supporting cost analysis, and partnering with project teams to ensure accurate reporting and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:

• Manage project billing schedules, accounts payable processing, and monthly draw package preparation.
• 
  
• Support project teams with financial reporting, cost tracking, forecasting, and benchmarking analysis.
• 
  
• Monitor project payables, contractor documentation, and compliance requirements related to payment processing.
• 
  
• Prepare labor productivity and project cost reports while assisting with financial adjustments and analysis.
• 
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with project management and accounting teams to drive accurate project financial management.

Qualifications of the Project Accountant:

• 
  
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within construction or project-based environments.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of project accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
• 
  
• Experience working with accounting and cloud-based software platforms.
• 
  
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
