Responsibilities
As a Project Accountant, you will support IEI's Alliance/Lilly team by accurately and consistently completing accounting functions for assigned projects.
- Review and process vendor and subcontractor invoices.
- Assist with monthly closings and account reconciliations.
- Review contracts to ensure project billings are prepared accurately.
- Prepare invoice packages with all required supporting documentation.
- Collect and review pertinent subcontractor paperwork.
- Maintain accurate project accounting records and financial documentation.
- Collaborate regularly with project team members and other departments.
- Assist other team members as needed.

What it takes
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Previous experience in accounting, project accounting, or a similar financial support role is preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with accounting software is beneficial.
- Construction industry experience is a plus but not required.
