Project Accountant - Construction  - Fort Lauderdale 

A growing construction firm is seeking a Project Accountant to join its South Florida team. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity that supports multiple construction projects and partners closely with Project Managers.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage subcontractor billing, payments, and compliance
• Process invoices and payments within the ERP system
• Reconcile activity and maintain accurate project records
• Prepare and post project invoices
• Support job cost reporting and project financial audits
• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors regarding billing and payments
• Assist with general accounting and project-related financial activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of accounting experience, construction accounting experience strongly preferred 
• Experience with subcontractor billing, lien waivers, and project invoicing
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
