With this contractor you get the best of both worlds- large enough to grow your career internally but while maintaining the close knit feel of a smaller business- you'll have regular contact with the C-suite team and work closely with your accounting colleagues, Project Managers and Project Executives on a regular basis.This Senior Project Accountant position comes with the opportunity for progression into a management/leadership role.DescriptionManage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.Track project costs, ensuring accurate cost allocation and variance analysis.Prepare and review Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules to ensure proper revenue recognition.Generate and submit AIA billing, progress billings, and lien waivers (if construction-related).Ensure compliance with contract terms, purchase orders, and change orders .Handle subcontractor/vendor payments and verify invoices against project budgets.Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and leadership to provide financial insights.Prepare and analyze project profitability reports, job cost reports, and cash flow statements.Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations of project accounts .ProfileTo be considered for this position, candidates are required to have project accounting experience, working on projects in excess of $5m in value.Job OfferMarket leading base salaryGenerous benefits including 3 weeks PTO, 5% 401k match and a 10% target bonusMultiple healthcare, dental and vision plans on offer with low bi-weekly contributionsClear progression into a management positionVarious team outings, happy hours and team building eventsYour birthday off work (or nearest day if it falls on a weekend!)MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
