## The impact you'll make

As a Manager, Digital Transformation - Quality Management, you will help transform Lam's global Quality processes and digital capabilities. You will serve as a Business Subject Matter Expert, partnering with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, and implementation teams to design and deploy integrated Quality Management System solutions.You will translate business needs into clear requirements, guide process and solution design, and drive business ownership of testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization. Your work will help ensure that Quality solutions are practical, scalable, successfully adopted, and aligned with Lam's Quality Management System and Digital Transformation objectives.

## What you'll do

Quality Process and Requirements Leadership

• Serve as the Business Subject Matter Expert for assigned Quality Management processes.
• Evaluate current-state processes and define standardized, scalable, and compliant future-state workflows.
• Gather, document, prioritize, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Translate Quality business needs into clear requirements for implementation and technology teams.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements, process designs, test scenarios, and delivered solutions.

Solution Design and Governance

• Participate in process design, solution design, and fit-to-standard workshops.
• Identify process gaps, business rules, data requirements, controls, integration points, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Review and approve functional designs, workflows, configurations, reports, and business rules.
• Balance business requirements with standard QMS capabilities to minimize unnecessary customization.
• Represent Quality in governance forums and support timely, well-informed business decisions.
• Ensure solutions align with Lam's Quality Management System requirements and Digital Transformation principles.

Testing and Data Readiness

• Own or coordinate business testing for assigned Quality processes and capabilities.
• Review and approve test scenarios, scripts, acceptance criteria, and results.
• Coordinate or execute Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Lead business defect identification, prioritization, retesting, and closure.
• Support data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, mock conversions, and cutover readiness.
• Confirm that Quality processes, solutions, and business data are ready for deployment.

## What you'll do (continued)

Change Management, Training, and Deployment

• Serve as a Change Champion for new Quality processes and digital capabilities.
• Support change-impact assessments, stakeholder communications, and business-readiness activities.
• Review training materials, procedures, work instructions, and job aids for functional accuracy.
• Deliver or support role-based training, demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Participate in deployment-readiness reviews, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Resolve business-process issues and support users during post-go-live stabilization.
• Support the transition from project delivery to ongoing operational support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, and other Digital Transformation workstreams.
• Ensure that Quality processes and data are effectively integrated across relevant enterprise processes and systems.
• Gather end-user feedback and identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and improve the user experience.
• Support future releases, process improvements, and QMS enhancements.
• Measure user adoption, process performance, data quality, and business outcomes.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process.
• Run change management for projects and programs and support proper project closure.

## Who we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Business, Operations Management, or a related field with a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or 8 years of related experience with a Master's degree; or 5 years of related experience with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
• Six or more years of experience in Quality Management, including hands-on experience with enterprise Quality Management Systems.
• Experience supporting the implementation, enhancement, or deployment of a digital QMS solution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end Quality processes, such as Non-Conformance, Corrective and Preventive Action, Supplier Quality, Part Qualification, Design Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Audit,
• Compliance, Document Management, or Training Management.
• Experience defining and validating business requirements and participating in Quality process and solution-design workshops.
• Experience with business testing, including Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management System principles, closed-loop Quality processes, data integrity, and business controls.
• Experience supporting organizational change, end-user training, deployment, or post-go-live stabilization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic transformation environment.

## Preferred qualifications

• Advanced experience implementing, configuring, enhancing, or supporting an enterprise digital QMS platform.
• Experience designing and implementing integrated, closed-loop Quality processes across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or comparable Quality Management System standards and regulatory expectations.
• Experience integrating QMS solutions with Product Lifecycle Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing Execution Systems, data platforms, or other enterprise applications.
• Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA, Siemens Teamcenter, Siemens Opcenter, MES, or PLM solutions is beneficial but not required.
• Experience in the semiconductor, wafer fabrication equipment, high-technology manufacturing, or engineering-driven industry.
• Experience supporting a global, cross-functional Quality or Digital Transformation program.
• Master's degree or professional certification in Quality, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, change management, or project management.

Measures of Success: Business requirements are clearly defined, validated, and translated into effective QMS solutions. Quality processes and digital capabilities are successfully designed, tested, and deployed. Users are trained, prepared, and able to adopt new processes and technologies. Quality data is accurate, validated, and ready for deployment. Go-live issues are resolved promptly, and solutions are successfully stabilized. Implemented capabilities improve Quality visibility, process efficiency, data quality, compliance, and user experience. Enterprise Quality Management System experience is required for this position. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, MES, PLM, or related enterprise platforms is valuable but not required.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $114,000.00 - $253,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
