    About The Role

    Banner House’s Programming Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of club events, activities, and member programming. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating exceptional member experiences. The coordinator will work closely with multiple departments to ensure seamless event delivery and high levels of member engagement.


    What You'll Do

    • Assist in the planning and execution of club events, including social gatherings, family programming, wellness activities, and special events
    • Coordinate event logistics such as scheduling, vendor communication, room setup, and materials preparation
    • Maintain and update the club’s programming calendar and event registration systems
    • Support member communications by drafting event descriptions, emails, and promotional materials
    • Collaborate with food & beverage, fitness, and other departments to ensure smooth event operations
    • Track attendance, gather feedback, and assist in post-event reporting and analysis
    • Provide on-site support during events, including setup, check-in, and breakdown
    • Respond to member inquiries regarding programming in a timely and professional manner
    • Assist with administrative tasks related to programming and membership engagement

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Event Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
    • 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, events, customer service, or a related field
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva; experience with event management software is a plus
    • Positive attitude with a strong focus on member service and experience

    Work Environment

    • Primarily on-site at a private membership club
    • Combination of office work and active event support
    • Fast-paced, member-focused environment requiring flexibility and teamwork
    • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, & holidays
