This is a professional, exempt Information Technology position with the Applications Development Team. This position is on-site 8am-5pm M-F, and may be periodically required to work afterhours, nights, weekends, and holidays as required to meet the needs of our customers. This may include managing impactful incidents, maintenance events, or project implementations.

The Programmer Analyst Team Lead serves both as team leader, supervising the applications team, and as a technical expert, delivering on complex application development initiatives. They provide strategic and operational guidance to lead the IT Applications Team in effectively delivering applications and integrations that advance teaching, learning, research, and administrative goals of the university. The Programmer Analyst Team Lead will oversee and support the IT Applications team by managing personnel, resources, and priorities, and by promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Customer Relations: Work directly with customers, project managers, data administrators, database administrators, systems administrators, and architects on design, implementation, maintenance and security of in-house developed applications and 3rd party tools Development: Develops well-designed, testable, scalable, and efficient new code and modifies existing code based on customer requirements Documentation: Creates and maintains documentation for in-house developed and 3rd party applications with respect to purpose, customer scope/audience, data elements, nuances, etc. Collaboration: Collaborate well and provide redundancy in support of software/systems across the applications infrastructure team

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 8 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $80,143-$122,492 annually.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
