Description
Maintain and modify existing software using RPG.
* Provides programming support for various interfaces.
* Implement new software projects using the appropriate programming language.
* Analyze requests for programming, write functional and technical specifications to accommodate requested needs, and make necessary changes to program code to accomplish desired results.
Job Responsibilities
*
* Thoroughly test all program changes.
* Provide functional and technical documentation internally and externally for review and maintenance.
* Provide technical assistance to end users.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proficient at reading/writing RPG (RPG III, RPG IV, RPG Free) programming for the IBM iSeries or AS/400
* Proficient in SQL queries for extracting data from DB2 or MySQL
* Experience with a scripting language such as PHP, Ruby, or Javascrip
