Knowledge and Skills:
- Data analysis, data quality, and metadata management 8+ years
- Developing and integrating web services (SOAP and/or REST) 8+ years
- Database programming for data migration and data conversion 8+ years
- Designing, creating, and maintaining Oracle database objects 8+ years
- Logical and physical data modeling; database normalization 8+ years
- Data analysis, data quality, and metadata management 8+ years
- Oracle PL/SQL development (packages, procedures, functions) 8+ years
- Use of Oracle development tools such as Toad or SQL Developer 8+ years
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, triggers, constraints) to support application and integration requirements.
- Work closely with Data Architects and DBAs on performance tuning, code reviews, and database best practices.
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions to support business logic, data services, and ETL processes.
- Lead and execute data migration and data conversion tasks for new implementations, upgrades, and system integrations.
- Develop and consume web services (SOAP/REST) used in data integrations between internal systems and vendor hosted COTS solutions.
- Analyze data and metadata to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with agency standards.
