    The core mission of American Indian Student Services (AISS) is to provide opportunities that enhance American Indian/Indigenous student success, while also advancing a wide range of objectives aligned with The University of New Mexico''s enrollment, retention, and graduation goals for all students. AISS is seeking a Program Success Leader I (PSL I) to assist with a variety of administrative and programmatic support duties while maintaining a robust customer service focus.

    The ideal candidate would demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Peer Advisement, Customer/Student Service, Project Management & Event Coordination, Mentoring/Recruiting, and Computer Skills. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: providing in-person and telephone general information specific to the department and/or the University; assisting with special projects and programming; conducting group presentations & campus tours; operating various office machines, photographic equipment, and computers; data entry; managing spreadsheet applications; publication layout and development; photocopies and facsimiles; maintaining confidential records and information; and additional job-related duties as assigned. This position requires in-person work at American Indian Student Services.
