Description

Position Title: Program Scheduler – Integrated Master Schedule Owner

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Program Scheduler with our client located in Redmond, Washington.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Create, own, and maintain Microsoft Project-based integrated master schedules.
  • Build schedule logic aligned to WBS, milestones, dependencies, baselines, critical path, float, and schedule health metrics.
  • Collect and validate schedule inputs from Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Legal, and Business Development.
  • Maintain schedule governance, update cadence, review standards, and baseline discipline consistent with U.S. Government program execution expectations.
  • Lead schedule reviews to confirm progress, forecast dates, risks, recovery plans, and customer milestone impacts.
  • Report schedule status, variance, critical path, milestone confidence, and recovery options to program and executive leadership.
  • Support proposals, customer reviews, qualification plans, engineering builds, manufacturing readiness, supplier schedules, and transition-to-production events.
  • Connect schedule data to PMO processes, including resource planning, risk management, change control, budget tracking, and contract execution.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Systems Engineering, or related field required; equivalent military, government, or industry experience may be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in program scheduling, program controls, project management, or related roles supporting complex technical programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain integrated master schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of schedule logic, WBS alignment, dependencies, critical path, baselines, variance, float, milestones, and recovery planning.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, DoD contracting, National Security, SATCOM, telecommunications, hardware, software, or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with IMP/IMS concepts, program baselines, contract milestones, supplier schedules, change control, and formal program reviews preferred.
  • Able to work across matrixed teams to collect inputs, validate logic, identify risks, and drive schedule accountability.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills.
  • Prior defense-prime, major subcontractor, military, government program, or National Security customer experience strongly preferred.
  • PMP, PMI-SP, PgMP, DAWIA, INCOSE ASEP/CSEP, or equivalent certification desirable.
