Highlights

Location: Pomona, CA

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid Onsite Mondays and Tuesdays and as needed

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 18 months
  • Pay Rate: $16.00 $35.62 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary

This contract role supports project management staff in completing necessary tasks and deliverables to ensure project success within a large regulated utility environment. The analyst will input and maintain data across tracking systems and client systems of record, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project status, and perform a broad range of coordination activities from processing customer submittals and sending easement requests to generating status reports and attending stakeholder update calls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project management staff in completing necessary tasks/deliverables to ensure project success
  • Input data and records into tracking systems, project management tools, and the client's systems of record, ensuring data integrity
  • Collaborate and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders on project status
  • Perform necessary tasks to ensure project completion such as (but not limited to):

- Sending easement requests - Sending contracts/invoices - Confirming receipt of payment/executed contracts - Releasing meters to the client's operations personnel - Checking project status and dependencies, and communicating status to internal and external stakeholders - Inputting data into the client's systems - Generating reports regarding project status/health and providing them to both internal and external stakeholders - Processing initial customer submittals, and routing the submittals to the appropriate stakeholders - Sending/Receiving documents, designs, etc. as required to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Attend status update calls with stakeholders and present on current project status
  • Perform ad-hoc reviews and/or generate ad-hoc reports, as required by leadership in support of corporate goals/initiatives

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years analytical experience reviewing and interpreting data sets
  • Minimum 2 years project coordination/management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with database software (Access, SAP, or equivalent)

Preferred Skills

  • Utility industry experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong customer service
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality work

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of analytical experience reviewing and interpreting data sets
  • Minimum 2 years of project coordination/management experience
