Job Title: Program Manager
Location: White Plains, NY
Duration: 12 Months

Pay rate range: $70.00 - $75.00/Hour on W2.
Hybrid role: Min 3 days onsite 2 days remote

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7.5-hour workday with .5-hour unpaid lunch, paid for time worked only

Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Program Manager to lead and oversee critical IT initiatives within our enterprise infrastructure portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in IT program and project management, infrastructure technologies, cloud platforms, cybersecurity alignment, and governance frameworks. This role is responsible for driving successful execution by coordinating cross functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring all program activities are aligned with organizational objectives and technical standards.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage infrastructure programs and projects.
  • Drive cloud, networking, and digital employee experience projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, resources, and KPIs.
  • Lead and mentor project teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for requirements, solution design, and delivery.
  • Manage RFPs, bids, proposals, and vendor selection.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for implementation.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve delivery challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, regulations, and data protection.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Track and control project expenditures.
  • Provide regular project status, risk, and issue updates to stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct project reviews and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Business, or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in infrastructure.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, cloud, servers, storage, virtualization, and security.
  • Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure design, planning, and implementation.
  • Experience with server and operating systems management.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and virtualization.
  • Experience with storage systems and cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of network security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Strong vendor and consultant management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project and Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of project initiation, planning, execution, control, transition, and closure.
  • Strong experience in customer and sponsor expectation management.
  • Strong risk, issue, financial, and change management skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience working with senior management on strategic initiatives.
  • Understanding of SDLC and infrastructure deployment life cycles.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is preferred.
  • Industry certifications relevant infrastructure or IT operations and other related fields are advantageous.
