Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale Vendor Management System (VMS) implementation beginning in North America with a planned global rollout. This individual will serve as the primary program lead, coordinating cross-functional teams across Procurement, HR, Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other business functions while partnering closely with the VMS implementation team. The Program Manager will drive project execution, governance, stakeholder alignment, risk management, reporting, and organizational adoption throughout the implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of a global Vendor Management System (VMS).
• Establish program goals, scope, success metrics, governance structures, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across HR, Technology, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Security, Facilities, and Communications.
• Manage implementation activities across planning, discovery, design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain the integrated project plan and ensure milestones and deliverables remain on schedule.
• Coordinate approximately 75-80 identified project action items through implementation.
• Partner closely with the VMS implementation team to manage deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for project risks, issues, and conflicts.
• Provide regular project updates, reporting, and presentations to internal leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision-making across cross-functional teams and maintain strong stakeholder alignment.
• Lead organizational readiness, change management, training coordination, and adoption activities.
• Support supplier migration, reporting, invoice design, data validation, system integrations, requirements gathering, and testing.
• Drive successful deployment and adoption of the VMS platform across business units.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project or program management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level system implementations.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple business functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage project timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to independently drive implementation activities from project planning through deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading an end-to-end enterprise VMS implementation on the client side.
• Hands-on implementation experience with Magnit, Fieldglass, VNDLY, or Beeline.
• Experience with contingent workforce programs, MSP models, or VMS workflows.
• Experience supporting large-scale staffing technology implementations.
• Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with HRIS or ERP platforms such as Workday or Oracle.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification.
• Experience leading global technology rollouts or implementations.
