Had been in strategy roles product management launching new programs. MBA from Stanford. Had little sales and little SMB experience. How she broke down problems to build frameworks. Brainstorm different solutions. Had some consulting in her background. Other person had more sales experience on the driving part. We need people to figure out complex issues, find the team, build it out and solution the business need.
First 3 months build structure look at data to solve problems. Bringing in the right partners. Be able to present to leaders.
Some management consulting. Biz ops roles? Strategy?
MBA is preferred. Taking something from 0-1. Scrappy.
Project how we think about allocating our resources as we build our sales organization. They don't have to have built a sales org. Doesn't need to have sales. Would rather have a problem solver.
