Program Manager

Summary: Reporting to the VP/GM, qualified candidate coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of assigned company customers and programs. Ensure strict adherence to aerospace industry quality management systems, safety regulations, and government export control laws (such as ITAR/EAR).

Summary: Reporting to the VP/GM, qualified candidate coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of assigned company customers and programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates preparation of proposals, plans,     specifications and financial conditions of contracts
• Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules
• Develops solutions to program problems to assure      programs are completed within time and budget constraints 
• Prepares reports for senior management to track      progress and goals
• Responsible for the coordination and completion      of programs utilizing a wide degree of creativity and independent      judgment. 
• Ensure strict adherence to aerospace industry      quality management systems, safety regulations, and government export      control laws (such as ITAR/EAR).

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical field.
• 6 to 10+ years of project or program management experience within the aerospike, defiance or high-tech manufacturing industries. 
• Experience with complex multi-year programs involving Military Contractors or subcontract providers.  Manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong negotiating skills and tenacity in      managing both people and programs
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• Detail oriented with effective organization      skills and ability to prioritize workload
• Ability to translate complex technical problems      into basic terms both verbally and in written form
• Ability to read and interpret technical data      packages, drawings and schematics
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and      procedures within DoD environment
• Strong computer skills with EXCEL and POWER POINT
• Ability to communicate in a cross-functional      production environment
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to      plan and accomplish goals

Working Environment:

• Extended periods of sitting and standing
• Constant access to production floor
• Constant use of      computer and monitor
• Fast paced schedule conscious work environment
