Program Manager (Remote)

Supports the delivery of a strategic program representing a major company initiative by providing central expertise, governance, and control within or independent of a formal Program Management Office (PMO). Focuses on providing thought leadership within Program Management but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.

Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Program Manager in a remote capacity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with a competitive compensation package.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Program Management assignments/projects.
• Supports the delivery of a strategic program representing a major company initiative by providing central expertise, governance, and control within or independent of a formal Program Management Office (PMO).
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.
• Manages large programs or processes. Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions/best practices.
• Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.
• May lead functional teams or projects.
• Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
• Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
• Focuses on providing thought leadership within Program Management but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.
• Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree REQUIRED
• 5+ years Program Management experience
• Experience working on compliance related projects or within a compliance department or organization
• Advanced Microsoft applications – word, outlook, excel, project, visio
• Strong stakeholder identification and management
• Experience working within a program governance framework
• Strong communication skills and the ability to tailor communications to specific audiences
• Proven experience working on business and IT projects with an understanding of the software delivery lifecycle as well as operational adoption of new processes.
• Business Analysis techniques such as process modelling, root cause analysis, data models, process maps and traceability are very desirable.
• Ability to lead requirements and specifications workshops and facilitate effective discussion
• Ability to lead project delivery planning, estimation, resourcing, risk identification and delivery management
