Program Manager III

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA (Remote; Onsite Preferred)
Duration: 6+ Months

Role Summary:
Seeking a Senior/Principal Program Manager to support the Head of Talent Acquisition on a confidential, large-scale HR strategic initiative. This person will establish program governance, drive cross-functional execution, manage risks and dependencies, and provide executive-level reporting with minimal onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish program governance, operating cadence, stakeholder meetings, and RACI.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Track decisions, actions, risks, issues, assumptions, and escalations; drive timely resolution.
  • Partner with senior executives and cross-functional teams including HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, Legal, Procurement, and Operations.
  • Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, status reports, and decision-ready materials.
  • Support budget development, resource planning, spend tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage collaboration and reporting using Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
  • Use approved AI tools (including Copilot) to improve program management efficiency while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies where appropriate.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of complex project/program management experience.
  • Experience supporting senior executives and managing highly visible, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Direct experience in BOTH semiconductor and manufacturing industries – mandatory.
  • Strong experience building program governance, RACI, project plans, milestone tracking, risk/issue management, decision logs, and executive reporting from scratch.
  • Active PMP certification required.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with AI productivity tools for project/program management.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Must be able to work primarily in Pacific Time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • West Coast-based candidate.
  • Certifications: CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or PgMP.
  • Experience with organizational transformation, workforce planning, or large-scale business initiatives.
  • Budget management, resource forecasting, and leadership-level financial reporting experience.
  • Experience with Project, Smartsheet, and dashboard/reporting tools.
