Position Summary:
The Program Manager is responsible for the management of significant and operational, multi-disciplinary projects that require a broad knowledge of business process. The Program Manager supports the organization by: understanding objectives as they relate to both business and integration program goals; working with business and project leaders to ensure that work plans align with business objectives, are well developed, well understood and well executed; mentor and assist project leaders with project schedules, maintenance, and delivery of high quality results.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Take ownership of all aspects of program and project management activities within an owned or supported workstream.
Work closely with the steering committee to make sure that the scope and direction of each program and project is well understood.
Lead meetings and working sessions with stakeholders, SME's, and senior leaders to assist with: developing the business case; developing project plans using appropriate tools, identifying key deliverables and timelines; identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path items; taking action to troubleshoot problem areas.
Develop task and milestone level project plans to execute against strategic goals and vision.
Regularly analyze and report the progress of programs to leadership via executive level.
Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
