Description

Our client, a Technology company, is looking for a Program Manager (III) for their Sunnyvale, CA/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Across multiple teams, independently define, drive, and own program charter(s) that address scope, and timeline, OKRs, resourcing and risks/dependencies of moderately complex programs.
  • Translate ambiguous program goals into clear and measurable objectives/milestones.
  • Determine the effective level of program management required of an initiative.
  • Create project plans that break down a project into discrete phases aligned to the needs of stakeholders, include risks/dependencies and support proactive identification of program constraints.
  • Independently determine program phasing and metrics that effectively address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship.
  • Optimize regular checkpoints and metrics dashboards.
  • Ensure stakeholders are aligned on rationale for program pivots.
  • Independently design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key partner communications.
  • Articulately represent the program across touchpoints.
  • Anticipate change management requirements.
  • Independently develop change management rollout plans for programs including impact analysis.
  • Proactively drive pivots requiring change management, monitor progress of change management rollout, and resolve misalignments.
  • Define future change management needs.
  • Effectively build trusted relationships with senior program stakeholders to proactively enable effective decision making.
  • Resolve prioritization misalignments with stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage program escalations.
  • Independently determine and collect data required to govern programs and effectively drive stakeholder decision-making.
  • Independently maintain project trackers and status reports. Identify and execute on program tasks, including proactively managing dependencies, while incorporating Product Excellence values, Product Inclusion, and brand trust and reputation.
  • Create automated processes to enhance velocity and monitoring.
  • Define program governance structure by determining effective management of mitigations, postmortems, and escalation reports. drive effective program stakeholder meetings.
  • Owns the pricing migration delivery plan and weekly progress against it
  • Manages dependencies between BORM clusters during the peak transformation period
  • Runs the BORM transformation programme board — status, risks, decisions needed
  • Coordinates with A&B, GenAI, SOLE and CLO teams on shared deliverables
  • Documents processes and decisions so knowledge doesn't leave with them
 
Requirements:
Minimum role qualification requires proficiency in:
  • Portfolio Management (PgM/TPM)
  • Team Management
  • Continuous Improvement (PgM/TPM)
  • Managing Organizational Change (PgM/TPM)
  • Communications Management (PgM/TPM)
  • Planning (PgM/TPM)
  • Stakeholder Management (PgM/TPM)
  • Execution and Governance (PgM/TPM)
  • Technical Judgment (TPM)
  • User understanding and empathy
  • Experienced programme / project manager — comfortable with complexity and multiple workstreams (6-10 years of experience)
  • Experience of WFM or Capacity Planning a benefit
  • Strong documentation and handover discipline — the exit just is as important as the tenure
  • Does NOT need to be an AI specialist (beneficial though)— needs to be a strong delivery operator
  • Good at working with ambiguity
