    Position Overview

    Tsunami Tsolutions is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a portfolio of concurrent military and application development projects. This role provides program-level oversight across scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, compliance, and customer outcomes while coordinating work across technical and business teams. The successful candidate will translate customer and contract requirements into clear project priorities, maintain an integrated view of portfolio performance, and build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee multiple projects within military and application development programs, balancing interdependencies, priorities, resources, and customer commitments.

    • Maintain program-wide accountability for scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, compliance, and delivery performance.

    • Provide cross-functional leadership across application development, support, IT, information security, export control, operations, and executive stakeholders.

    • Serve as a primary customer-facing leader and ensure requirements, decisions, risks, and action items are communicated and resolved promptly.

    What You'll Do

    • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, dependencies, risk registers, and performance metrics across the project portfolio.

    • Lead program reviews and project governance, including status reporting, forecast updates, issue escalation, change control, and corrective-action follow-through.

    • Partner with application development and technical leads to align requirements, releases, integrations, testing, deployment, support readiness, and customer acceptance.

    • Coordinate with military customers, partners, subcontractors, and internal teams to clarify requirements and maintain alignment on deliverables and priorities.

    • Identify delivery, security, export-control, resource, and technical risks early; assign owners and drive mitigation through closure.

    • Establish clear accountability across integrated project teams and promote consistent use of company systems, processes, documentation, and performance measures.

    • Support customer relationship development, proposal planning, follow-on work, and other business opportunities consistent with program goals.

    • Perform other duties as assigned based on business and program needs.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

    • Five or more years of progressive program or project management experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects in aerospace, defense, military, or application development environments.

    • Demonstrated experience managing program scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, dependencies, and customer deliverables.

    • Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and working directly with customers, senior leaders, and external partners.

    • Working knowledge of application development lifecycles, including requirements, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and support.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present program status, risks, and recommendations to technical and executive audiences.

    • Ability to meet customer, site-access, and applicable background-screening requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PMP, PgMP, or comparable program/project management certification.

    • Experience supporting U.S. military, Department of Defense, aerospace OEM, airline, or MRO customers.

    • Familiarity with Maintenix or similar maintenance, engineering, logistics, or enterprise aviation applications and their integrations.

    • Experience with Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery methods and related portfolio reporting tools.

    • Knowledge of ITAR/export-control practices, information security requirements, Technology Control Plans, and operational security (OPSEC) principles.

    Additional Requirements

    • Must satisfy the export-control eligibility requirements stated above and comply with all applicable ITAR, customer, and company security requirements.

    • Ability to travel up to 30% to customer, partner, and company locations, including travel that may require overnight stays.

    • Ability to work across multiple priorities and time zones as program and customer needs require.

    Work Environment

    This position operates in professional office, customer-site, and approved remote-work environments based on program and customer requirements. Remote work, when authorized, must be performed from an approved, private, and secure location. Company and customer equipment, controlled technical data, ITAR-regulated information, and other sensitive information must be handled in strict accordance with applicable security and Technology Control Plan requirements. Customer or program requirements may be more restrictive and may require regular on-site presence. Work may involve extended periods at a computer and meetings across multiple locations and time zones.
