    Description

The Global Integrity Programs (GIP) team is a central pillar of Trust & Safety, dedicated to safeguarding our platform information integrity and preserving society trust. We lead high-impact, cross-functional programs that address the most critical integrity challenges, including election and high risk events, user empowerment, media literacy and fact-checking programs. Our work connects global risk operations, product development, and policy-making to deliver durable, scalable solutions that protect our community.

We are hiring individual contributor Program Managers to lead the end-to-end delivery of our Elections & High-Risk Events and Fact-Checking programs within the Global Integrity Programs team. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Product, Policy, Operations, Data Science, and external partners, turning signals from elections workflows, fact-checking pipelines, escalations, and root cause analyses into clear mitigation strategies and closed-loop improvements that reduce regrettable escalations over time. You will also contribute to broader integrity domains such as misinformation, civic integrity, and AI-generated content (AIGC), helping shape how TikTok protects information integrity and user trust globally.

This role will primarily cover LATAM and Brazil, with responsibility for elections, high-risk events, and fact-checking program delivery across the region.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own the end-to-end Elections and High-Risk Events (HRE) integrity program in your region, including annual strategy, risk tiers, playbooks, launch readiness, and coordination during critical events.
    • Lead the regional Fact-Checking program, managing day-to-day workflows with external fact-checking partners, calibration, and integration of fact-check outputs into user-facing product interventions and operational playbooks.
    • Synthesize signals from Elections/HRE, Fact-Checking, escalations, and external partners into clear risk narratives and mitigation plans that reduce regrettable escalations over time.
    • Define, track, and communicate program health through metrics and dashboards, partnering with Data Science to build and refine metrics, early-warning indicators, and reporting.
    • Partner with Product, Policy, Operations, and UX to design, launch, and iterate user-facing safety interventions such as search guides, banners, and information hubs that help users find authoritative information and understand our policies.
    • Serve as a central program owner and communicator, aligning diverse stakeholders across time zones, running cross-functional sprints when issues flare, and ensuring decisions, owners, and next steps are clearly documented. Minimum Qualification(s):
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5+ years experience in program management, Trust & Safety, risk prevention, or related problem-solving roles.
    • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives end to end with minimal oversight; strong influence across Product, Policy, Ops, and T&S in high-stake, competing-priority environments.
    • Deep subject-matter expertise in at least one of the following domains: misinformation, civic integrity (including elections and high-risk events), or AI-generated content (AIGC), with familiarity across other/adjacent high-harm domains.
    • Strong analytical judgment with comfort navigating complex data and ambiguous problem spaces.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, including strategy docs, decision memos, and executive updates; credible and confident engaging stakeholders
    • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is required, as this role will primarily cover LATAM and Brazil, with responsibility for elections, high-risk events, and fact-checking program delivery across the region.

    Preferred Qualification(s):

    • Experience in Trust & Safety, content policy, platform integrity, or adjacent civic- or information-integrity domains.
    • Hands-on experience in product operations and user intervention design and deployment, for example search results interventions, banners, in-app hubs, or educational campaigns.
    • Experience managing or scaling relationships with external partners such as fact-checking organizations, NGOs, or academic institutions, including coordination, performance review, or joint initiatives.
    • Experience partnering closely with Data Science or analytics teams to define success metrics, build dashboards, and evaluate program impact.
    • Familiarity with regulatory or industry frameworks related to elections, civic integrity, or online misinformation.
    • Experience working on LATAM and/or Brazil civic integrity, misinformation, elections, or Trust & Safety issues is strongly preferred.
