Job Title: Product Owner
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in product management and ownership, demonstrating a deep understanding of agile principles and practices. This role is critical in driving product vision, strategy, and execution while ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, translating them into actionable user stories.
- Act as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product goals.
- Utilize SAFe principles to facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Continuously assess and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features are delivered first.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform future iterations and enhancements.
- Work closely with cross functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience as a SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
- Proven track record of successfully managing product lifecycles in an agile environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly SAFe.
- Experience in creating and managing product roadmaps and backlogs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and user centered design practices.
- Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
- Experience in working with distributed teams and remote collaboration tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification is a must.
- 15+ years of experience in product management or ownership, with a focus on agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a data driven approach to decision making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
