Job Title: Scrum Master/Agile Coach
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach with over 15 years of experience to lead our Agile transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, with a proven track record of coaching teams to achieve high performance. This role is critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, practices, and values to enhance their understanding and implementation of Agile methodologies.
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well defined and prioritized product backlog.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and performance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and outcomes.
- Support the organization in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams and departments.
- Provide training and workshops on Agile methodologies to enhance team capabilities.
- Measure and report on team performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Act as a servant leader, fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a variety of environments.
- Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.).
- Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP ACC), or equivalent.
- Experience in coaching remote teams and managing virtual collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully leading Agile transformations in organizations.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
