    Description

    EFI is looking for a Program Manager to work on R&D programs in our Business Unit of single-pass digital inkjet printers based in Almazora, Castellón, Spain.

    The Program Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional product development programs from concept definition through prototype validation and transition into serial production. This role acts as the central coordination point between Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Operations, and Leadership, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

    Main Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Lead New Product Development (NPD) programs from concept through production release.
    • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and success criteria.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Service.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and milestones using Microsoft Project.
    • Drive program execution, track deliverables, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
    • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and critical issues, escalating when required.
    • Lead prototype build activities, issue resolution, and program review meetings.
    • Provide regular status updates, KPIs, and executive reports to leadership.
    • Promote accountability, alignment, and continuous improvement throughout the product development lifecycle.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
    • 3+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Product Development, or similar roles.
    • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional projects from concept through industrialization and product launch.
    • Strong understanding of hardware and software development processes within manufacturing, machinery, automation, or technology-driven environments.
    • Experience managing project plans, schedules, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, and Microsoft Office.
    • Experience in digital printing, industrial equipment, or related industries is a plus.
    • Experience working in international environments is preferred.
    • Fluent English, written and spoken.
