Description

Must Have:

7+ years leading large, cross-functional technology or business transformation programs. Demonstrated experience implementing Coupa, Ariba, Oracle Procurement, SAP SRM, Jaggaer, or similar procurement platforms. Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning, sourcing, contracts, catalogs, purchase orders, receiving, invoicing, and supplier enablement. Experience designing and implementing hosted catalog solutions and product/content management processes. Experience coordinating system integrations between procurement platforms and ERP systems (SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA preferred). Strong knowledge of procurement master data, vendor master, material/item data, UNSPSC classifications, and catalog governance. Experience managing complex programs involving IT, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Finance, Legal, and external vendors. Proven ability to develop business cases, project plans, RAID logs, executive status reporting, and implementation roadmaps. Experience leading software implementation vendors, systems integrators, and third-party consulting resources. Strong understanding of change management, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment planning, and post-go-live support.

Nice to Have:

Direct experience implementing Coupa Hosted Catalogs. Coupa certifications and/or previous Coupa deployment experience. Experience supporting a SAP S/4HANA transformation. Utility industry or regulated industry experience. Experience with supplier onboarding and catalog content enrichment. Familiarity with Punchout, OCI, cXML, EDI, and supplier connectivity standards. Knowledge of category management and strategic sourcing processes. Experience developing procurement operating models and governance frameworks. Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications. Experience leading finance-driven business cases and executive steering committees.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This Program Manager is responsible for leading the design, build, governance, and implementation of Xcel Energy's Coupa Hosted Catalog solution supporting enterprise Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Finance, and IT business objectives. This role will be accountable for end-to-end program delivery including business process design, supplier enablement, system configuration, integration coordination, testing, deployment, change management, and adoption of the new catalog capabilities within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) ecosystem.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Oversee all workstreams required to successfully design, build, test, and deploy the Coupa Hosted Catalog solution.
Define governance, controls, and operating processes required to manage catalog content, supplier onboarding, catalog maintenance, and ongoing program delivery.
Develop and maintain the overall program roadmap, implementation plan, resource plan, budget, and executive reporting.
Partner with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement, IT, Finance, Legal, and external suppliers to establish catalog requirements and operating models.
Lead business process design activities to align catalog functionality with Procurement and P2P objectives.
Manage vendor, consulting, and implementation partner activities to ensure delivery against scope, schedule, and budget commitments.
Support project team members to:
Plan and monitor program progress to ensure milestones are met.
Manage daily program activities throughout the full implementation lifecycle.
Coordinate resources across business, functional, technical, and supplier workstreams.
Manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and escalating decisions.
Coordinate testing activities, including SIT, UAT, defect management, and production readiness.
Manage supplier onboarding and catalog content deployment activities.
Drive stakeholder alignment across Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and executive leadership.
Align deliverables across all workstreams to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
Develop and execute change management, communication, training, and user adoption plans.
Support post-go-live stabilization and transition to operational support teams.
Skill Set Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of Program or Project Management experience leading complex enterprise software implementations and business transformation initiatives.
Minimum 5 years of experience implementing procurement, sourcing, or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) technology solutions.
Proven experience leading large-scale software implementation programs involving multiple cross-functional business and technical workstreams.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing procurement catalog solutions, supplier enablement programs, or eCommerce procurement capabilities.
Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes, including requisitioning, sourcing, contracts, catalogs, purchase orders, receiving, invoicing, and supplier management.
Experience coordinating integrations between procurement platforms and ERP systems such as SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
Proven experience leading requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, stabilization, and operational transition activities.
Proven vendor management experience including RFP support, SOW development, financial oversight, and performance management of implementation partners and suppliers.
Experience managing programs with large and diverse stakeholder groups, including executive leadership, business process owners, IT organizations, and external vendors.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, resource planning, risk management, governance, and executive reporting.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and organizational change leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience implementing Coupa Hosted Catalogs.
Direct experience implementing Coupa Procurement, Coupa P2P, Coupa Supplier Management, or related Coupa modules.
Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
Knowledge of Punchout, cXML, OCI, EDI, supplier connectivity standards, and catalog content management.
PMP, PgMP, Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
Utility, energy, or other regulated industry experience.
Experience establishing catalog governance and operating models supporting ongoing supplier and content management.

a. Manage the Coupa catalog implementation program. The Program Manager will run the program primarily from a supply chain perspective while partnering with business unit peers in IT, sourcing, and potentially finance and legal. The individual will be responsible for driving the implementation, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring program execution across multiple workstreams.
2. What does a typical day look like?
a. Initially, the role may be lighter while ground rules and collaboration structures are established. Day-to-day activities will include working closely with IT and sourcing teams, managing stakeholders, aligning stakeholder needs with the program, facilitating coordination across multiple workstreams, and keeping the project on track.

a. Monday through Friday. Start time between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM is generally acceptable. Minimum expectation is 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required as the program ramps up.

a. Experience leading a procurement catalog or supplier enablement program through go-live.
b. Strong Coupa experience and exposure.

1. What is the location of the contract assignment (Full time onsite, hybrid percent of time on site/home or, are you open to fully remote)? If the resource is expected to be onsite, can you confirm if the resource can park on Xcel property/in the ramp?
a. Hybrid position following Xcel Energy's standard schedule of Tuesday through Thursday onsite. Preferred location is T3 because the hiring leaders are based there, but flexibility exists depending on the candidate and skill set.
