Description

Constellation Search Group is looking for a Program Manager for a full-time direct hire position. The Program Manager will join a leading contract manufacturer focused on developing highly engineered molded components and complex assemblies. The role involves heading cross-functional teams from the quotation stage to production, utilizing sophisticated project management systems. The ideal candidate is expected to navigate a period of significant expansion, contributing to mission-critical projects that demand precision, cleanliness, and performance reliability.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects with an emphasis on sound project organization, effective timeline management using tools like MS Project and Gantt charts, and skillful budget management.
  • Oversee supplier management, including with mold makers and material suppliers.
  • Review part designs for elements such as draft and side-actions.
  • Understand injection mold tooling, including aspects like mold features due to part geometry and basic mold construction.
  • Apply experience in medical molding, particularly in silicone molding (LSR/LIM).
  • Implement good manufacturing processes and advanced quality planning (APQP), with knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOEs), capability studies, and the "Steel Safe" concept.
  • Deploy automation concepts, including press robots and automated assembly equipment.
  • Evaluate cost impacts of options and select the best solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the medical market.
  • Ability to professionally represent the company to customers and suppliers.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the potential to train other personnel.
  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing (required).
  • 5 years of experience in plastics injection molding (preferred).
