Job Title:Program Manager - Business PMO

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Program Manager - Business PMOwith our client located in Santa Clara, CA.

Job Description:
  • We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to join the Business PMO team.
  • This role owns delivery across planning, design, testing, cutover, and hypercare —ensuring the business can focus on making the right decisions while execution, coordination, and governance are handled with rigor.
  • This role will report directly to the Director, Mercury Business PMO, and will partner closely with Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash functional leaders, business stakeholders, IT, and PMO teams to ensure readiness, execution discipline, and stakeholder alignment throughout the transformation.
  • The ideal candidate is a structured and detail-oriented Program Manager with experience leading large-scale ERP implementations across end-to-end Supply Chain, including Order-to-Cash processes.
  • They understand the dependencies across business functions—from demand planning through customer invoicing—and have a demonstrated ability to program manage complex enterprise transformations by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks and dependencies, aligning business and IT stakeholders, and driving business validation through successful program execution.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the end-to-end lifecycle of interrelated projects within programs, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope: define project objective, scope, and resource requirements; establish timelines and milestones with gantt charts; manage dependencies and minimize risks; identify and assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects; oversee project budgets and resource allocation; and develop methods to monitor project or area progress
  • Build, drive, & enforce project management governance, processes, project plans, schedules, and templates for cross-functional, transformational projects supporting various organizations that include but are not limited to: IT, Sales, Channel, Marketing, Product Management, and more
  • Ensure program documentation and executive updates are delivered consistently, including taking meeting minutes and communicating project updates to project team members, stakeholders, steering committee members, and C-level executives
  • Define and enforce SIT/UAT governance, including ownership of test scripts, test data, defect triage, retesting, and go/no-go criteria. Working alongside vendors to validate complete fixes and regression testing before business retesting begins. Drive governance for cutover planning and execution, including runbooks, sequencing, and escalation during go-live.
  • Provide project management metrics and actionable solutions to help guide leadership decision-making and program prioritization
  • Research, analyze, and recommend solutions and best practices, influencing decisions by providing clear insights and structured options
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify objectives, KPIs, and key metrics of success to measure project/program progress
  • Review and analyze business requirement documents and shepherd the process of clarifying business outcomes with IT’s solutioning plans
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts and business impact to team members and leadership in a manner that is readily understandable and actionable
  • Manage and solve scope creep, dependencies, change management, and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Debrief at the end of each project or program launch and incorporate feedback into Lessons Learned
  • Partner with cross-functional teams from a resourcing and SME stand point, as well as bridge the gaps and silos for cross-functional workstreams.

Job Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in program/project management, with preferred experience leading Supply Chain and Order-to-Cash functions through SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA ERP implementations.
  • Preferred completed Bachelor's degree
  • Proven ability to drive multi phase projects end to end (Plan/Build/SIT/UAT/Cutover/Hypercare).
  • Has built and run SIT/UAT strategies, defect triage, regression planning, and cutover runbooks for ERP go lives.
  • Hands-on with JIRA, structured RAID logs, and collaborative tooling (GDrive, Sheets, Slack/Zoom) in an agile/iterative delivery model.
  • Highly analytical, execution-focused, and detail-oriented, with ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, facilitation, and communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and change management principles is a plus.
