The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in backend development and API design, demonstrating a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs that meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in an Agile environment.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs in a timely manner.
Continuously improve existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team remains competitive.
Mandatory Skills:
Proven experience in backend development with a strong focus on API design and implementation.
Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Strong understanding of RESTful services and microservices architecture.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications:
